Winter Breath: Humboldt Park

A winter breathwork practice in the Humboldt Park boathouse, built for the months when getting out of the house is the hardest part.

The session

What actually happens

December through February is when attendance drops everywhere and when people need this most. This session exists specifically for that stretch, and it is warm, indoors and unapologetically gentle.

The practice is a slower, longer-exhale pattern rather than the activating work we run in September. It is designed to settle rather than energise, which is what most people are actually after by December.

We serve hot drinks from 8:30 and nobody minds if you spend the first half hour just sitting in the warm. Several of our most consistent members started exactly that way.
