Slow Flow on the Rail Trail

A deliberately slow hour beside the Rail Trail, with every shape held long enough to actually feel it before we move on.

The session

What actually happens

Slow flow means fewer shapes held for longer, rather than a long sequence taken gently. Expect around twelve postures across the hour, each one held for five to eight breaths, with clear instruction on where you should and should not feel it.

The lawn sits directly beside the Rail Trail, so there is foot traffic passing throughout. Regulars stopped noticing within a week and newcomers usually do by the halfway point.

This is the last outdoor Charlotte session of the year. From December we move indoors to Camp North End and the schedule shifts to Sunday mornings.
