Breath and Sound in NoDa

Forty minutes of guided breathing followed by a live sound bath played on gongs and singing bowls, in a converted print shop in NoDa.

The session

What actually happens

The session runs in two clear halves. The first is an active breathing practice, seated and then lying down, guided out loud the whole way through. The second is stillness, with live sound played over you while you do nothing at all.

We host this in a converted print shop with brick walls and a high ceiling, which is the reason it sounds the way it does. Thirty people is the most the room takes, and the front row is genuinely the best place to be.

Newcomers make up most of the room on any given month, so do not worry about walking in cold. The facilitator explains every step before it happens and checks in with the room twice during the session.
